After sensing a call of God on his life to preach and travel to the nations, Jay enrolled at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Emmanuel. He also completed a Master of Arts in Leadership Development from Southwestern Christian University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In the fall of 1998, Jay spent 3 months studying the Spanish Language in San Jose, Costa Rica.

In January of 1999, he began travelling with Tony Miller and working with Destiny World Outreach. Jay continues to work with Destiny World Outreach, ministering to congregations in America as well as abroad. God has allowed his ministry to reach into over 25 nations of the world, as opportunities continue to abound. Jay’s heart is to see people rise to fulfill their potential in Christ, and live lives that make an eternal impact in their generation for the Kingdom of God. His message challenges youth and adults alike to pursue their God-given purposes in life.
